Introducing our new and improved Early Learning Programme

In answer to these tough economic times and new scientific evidence for babies’ brain development, SmartBrain is proud to introduce our new and improved Early Learning Programme – MORE AFFORDABLE, MORE PORTABLE AND MORE PARENT-FRIENDLY, and still available in both Afrikaans and English! If you have an infant or you know someone who does or is expecting a baby, you need to get your hands on our new and improved Early Learning Programme!

The new Early Learning Programme (“ELP”) has been subdivided into smaller packs, accompanied by the necessary manuals and year-planner, to make the best use of that critical window period of astonishing brain development in the first year of your baby’s life.

Our previously somewhat cumbersome Module 1, now the more portable and updated Teddy Pack, has been broken down into the Froggy Pack (Module 1 Beginner’s Pack 1) and Elephant Pack (Module 1 Beginner’s Pack 2), giving parents the opportunity to spread the cost over the course of some months rather than a large once-off expense. From there, baby will move on to the Cow Pack (previously ELP Module 2), the Puppy Pack (previously ELP Module 3) and the Bunny Pack (previously Module 4), each of which also has an Afrikaans counterpart available.

Each of the modules have been upgraded with newer and better pictures, and a more parent-friendly format. The packaging is also more compact (picnic basket size) and can easily go on holiday with you or for a visit with the grandparents on a weekend!

Our latest and most exiting addition is the Baby Foot Pack supported by a brand new DVD on the latest scientific proofs why a child should master all the sounds of as many languages as possible between 3 and 6 months. This pack contains all the sounds in English and Afrikaans, plus a guide for parents on how to use the system and the sound cards to give baby the best exposure and brain development possible, laying the foundation for brilliance!

Are you a teacher or a therapist with a bit of business sense and a strong desire to make a difference to the future of our country’s children? Are you a house-wife who has some time available and is willing to learn our techniques and as a bonus earn an income and help illiterate or struggling kids in your area?

We have a proposition for you! We need to open more centres to be able to serve the needs of families and schools in our towns and cities. If you have a strong desire to make a difference, like to work with kids and are willing to learn, we have a job for you. A background in education or therapy would help, but it is not essential. If your heart is in the right place, you can be successful. We will give you all the support you need.

A thankful mother

I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and patience to teach Alida to read.

In the beginning she was very negative about the reading classes and didn’t always want to go. Over the past 4 months we could see the dramatic improvement in her attitude towards the classes and she is now eager to go to class.

Personally I think her self-esteem has already improved a lot and she is becoming more confident and at ease when doing oral talks in front of her class.

She surprised herself, as well as us, as parents, when she received a mark of 60% at the end of this term for her Afrikaans. This is a big contrast to her 39% mark of last term.

I don’t think she ever expected that she could get such a mark. She always struggled with spelling and reading, but we can now see that all her hard work was worth it.

Thank you very much for all your patient effort.
